Located just 19km from Barcelona, the town of Alella has a historical wine-making tradition (the municipality gives its name to one of the smallest and oldest Spanish certificates of origin): A unique environment with picturesque landscapes and extensive beaches, as well as a privileged destination for wine tourism.

The Mercer Alella will be located on the spectacular "Cal Duch de Alella" estate. Following its philosophy, Mercer Hoteles will recover original elements of the building (such as its structure) to turn it into a unique luxury hotel in the Maresme.

This charming hotel, with a minimalist interior design, will have 14 exclusive rooms (10 of them with private terrace), a restaurant, a living-dining room and a living-room with patio views and outdoor terrace, two swimming pools and a solarium, a private parking as well as gardens, an ecological orchard and an extensive area of fruit trees.

The Mercer Alella restaurant will offer slow-food gastronomy based on local cuisine with organic ingredients grown in the orchard of the Cal Duch estate.
